Wellesley High School Floodplain and Wetlands (click images for closeup)
Wellesley High School is located on environmentally sensitive wetlands and a 100-year flood plain. Please view the school in relation to the surrounding neighborhood. The 1938 building was erected on steel sheathed concrete piles. Piles were also used in the construction of the 1956 wing.
